Most of the beaches are really untouched by foreign tourists and a handful are so remote that you could possibly have the beach to yourself, even in in the peak season.

There are many mountain places in Albania. These regions in the north are lovely for skiing or hiking and you are able to view a lot of waterfalls and fabulous lakes in that part of the country. Those mountains are fantastic to view but the other mountain regions are also spectacular.

Albanian cities are extremely lively with a cafe culture leading to hundreds of busy cafes to visit. Albania cities like Gjirokastra are worth taking the time to visit to view the historic old city area and not to mention to visit a museum or two.
